AHA!

That did it very nicely.  I forgot to put in Modes.

Thank you very much ... made my day!  For the archives ... I'm using
the vesa driver ... The vmware driver doesn't seem capable of this.
Runs at 1280x1024 very nicely both in a window, and in fullscreen.
