Try running the following command as root:
/usr/compat/linux/usr/bin/gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders > /usr/compat/linux/etc/gtk-2.0/gdk-pixbuf.loaders
And if that fails, then maybe re-installing graphics/linux-gdk/pixbuf
might help.
