can't mount msdos fs on freebsd6?

Are you sure its s2? What does
fdisk -s /dev/ad0
show?
I have a 20Gb FAT32 partition mounted right now - made with
PartitionMagic rather than XP itself, but I wouldn't expect that to be
the problem.
