failure of atk build on earlier platform

up to date /usr/ports.

sylpheed-claws now blown away as a result of this failure, had to switch
to sylpheed for the time being. [earlier sylpheed-claws had other build
failures but i was lulled into thinking that was fixed...]

any suggestions?
