Help: Tip on Buying External modem

Com port style always ... (real modems are _REAL_ modems with lotsa
useful LEDS, and DB25 connectors... )
USB types dont understand all the control lines ie CD DTR RTS
and dont work well in the dialin mode (hylafax hates them...)
