UPDATING - perl

Try contacting the maintainer of the perl ports: 

    % cd /usr/ports/lang/perl5.8
    % make -V MAINTAINER

It might be more worthwhile to put in a pkg-message, which should be
displayed any time anyone installs the port or the pkg built from it.
