Well, technically, since your data are indeed still there, you should be 
able to extract it from the disks. That would involve a small amount of
math though (stripe size e.a.).

I'm not sure about the TX4; but what about recreating the array in the 
controller's BIOS (if it has one) without rebuilding the array?
