Hi all folks,
I succeeded removing automake-1.5.1. Now I need to
install the latest version of automake
# cd /usr/ports/
# make search name=automake
Port: automake-1.5,1
Path: /usr/ports/devel/automake
,.....
Port: automake-1.4.5_9
Path: /usr/ports/devel/automake14
......
Port: automake-1.7.5_1
Path: /usr/ports/devel/automake17
......
# pkg_add -rv automake
.......
extract: CWD to .
Running mtree for automake-1.5,1..
mtree -U -f +MTREE_DIRS -d -e -p /usr/local >/dev/null
Attempting to record package into
/var/db/pkg/automake-1.5,1..
Trying to record dependency on package 'perl-5.6.1_15'
with 'lang/perl5' origin.
Package automake-1.5,1 registered in
/var/db/pkg/automake-1.5,1
# pkg_info | grep automake
automake-1.5,1 GNU Standards-compliant Makefile
generator
Why it did not install the latest version of
automake-1.7.5_1
Shall I remove it again with
# pdg_delete -r automake
What command line shall I apply to install the latest
version of automak-1.7.5_1
Kindly advise. TIA
B.R.
