I would like to access an old netware fileserver
I have follewed, the instructions on
http://people.freebsd.org/~bp/ipxen.html
4.9 GENERIC config + the followings:
options NCP #NetWare Core protocol
options NWFS #NetWare filesystem
options IPX #IPX/SPX communications protocols
device ef # Multiple ethernet frames support
options ETHER_II # enable Ethernet_II frame
options ETHER_8023 # enable Ethernet_802.3 (Novell) frame
options ETHER_8022 # enable Ethernet_802.2 frame
options ETHER_SNAP # enable Ethernet_802.2/SNAP frame
I did
ifconfig vr0f2 ipx 0
ifconfig vr0f2
vr0f2: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500

Can't find any file server
Although I can reach it from a linux box :
