problem with ftp site (sites, mirrors)

Hi people,

Today i tried to do a ftp install of FreeBSD 5.1-RELEASE from  mirror in 
Romania .... it failed with the following error in the install console:
"
Write failure on transfer! (wrote 623027 bytes of 1457152 bytes)
"
and on the debug console:
"
./sbin/dhclient-script
./sbin/omshell
/stand/cpio: invalid header: checksum error
/stand/cpio: warning: skipped 100320 bytes of junk

/stand/cpio: warning: skipped 502 bytes of junk

"
Afterwords i tried using also the "ftp.freebsd.org" mirror but it failed 
with the exact results as above.
Lastly , i tried to install from the .iso files and it went OK. SO, i 
presume that there is problem with the FTP sites in a file from the base 
package ....

Hope to hear something about this ....
