Howto make one of two sound cards default?

Just tell your  applications that the sound device  is /dev/dsp1.0.  For
example, here is the config of the Enlightenment Sound Daemon:

auto_spawn=1
spawn_options=-terminate -nobeeps -as 2 -d /dev/dsp1.0
spawn_wait_ms=100
