Heimdal (Port or Base System)

Hello,

I'm trying to install the pam_krb5 port.  It depends upon the
Heimdal port.  I was under the impression that Heimdal was also
available from the base system whenever I configured /etc/make.conf
with KRB5_IMPL=heimdal.

Do I need both or can I refuse the port and compile pam_krb5 using the
stuff in base system instead?
