Yes, I used the patch. But I chmod 755 files/mayavi2 myself because I use
patch(1) rather than "svn patch". I even add the line 
"print os.environ["LD_LIBRARY_PATH"]" before if block in
/usr/local/bin/mayavi2, it prints "/usr/local/lib/gcc48" and then
"ImportError....". So weird.
