Nothing has been done about the multi-socket/multi-core
PowerMac G5's and G4's ending up with processes stuck
sleeping for long periods. The times used for sleeping
and such on the various cores are still not sufficiently
well matched across cores (other than accidentally for
some boots).
The fans are from pmac_thermal sleeping longer than
it should, for example. bufdaemon and bufspacedaemon
timeouts noticed at shutdown are from those being
stuck-waiting as well.

There still are problems, more than just the sleeping
too long issue.
