Version: Latest

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #225181 +++
11.1-RELEASE kernel built with XCC devel/powerpc64-xtoolchain-gcc (GCC 6.3.1)
fails to boot from qemu-system-ppc64 -m pseries (SLOF fw) with Data Storage
Exception. Crashes just before CPU detection (following FreeBSD version
banner).
The same kernel built without XCC boots as expected.
Please let me know what output or logs would be useful to troubleshoot this
issue. It is not clear to me if this is a SLOF stack issue or compiler issue.
