may be a hardware problem with the signal 10. (I went back over your
Xorg.0.log.)
Upload the revised xorg.conf- with values added in- and a more recent
Xorg.0.log.
I'm hoping that Hibbits and Whitehorn are reading this thread.
Does the card work if you use a live cd?
UBuntu has few older images.
If this email is formatted strangely, it is because I screwed up my gmail
settings.
