Mac Mini G4 1.5GHz Broadcomm bwi BCM4318 problems

John,

I'm ok with messing with the sources, if you (and other people?) think  
that is worthwhile. I don't feel it's a good idea to do this without  
some support, however.

Are you ok giving me some hints on what variables to monitor, and  
where in the source code?
