17" PowerBook G4?

Hello,

I have a 17" Aluminum PowerBook G4 (1.67 GHz) that I am considering 
installing FreeBSD on. I would like to be able to use it as a desktop 
system for development work. Will this work? Is all the hardware (i.e. 
Graphics, WiFi, Audio, etc.) supported? If not, what pieces will I be 
without?

Will I be able to get Java to compile? KDE? OpenOffice? etc.

Any insights people have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
