Ok... So I tried mkisofs on DragonFly and now I have an even more 
useless CD image :).

I used mkisofs -o bootimage.iso -hfs -part -l -J -r -L

I don't know why that doesn't work... I was closer to success with 
hdiutil's makehybrid command.

Oh well.

I almost had it working on a netboot at one point via TFTP but I can't 
mess with my network to do that right now.

I wonder if it would boot from an iPod :)
