Yes, after you mentioned about poppler, I assumed that dependency was probably
specified, but rather than just glancr at output,
to make absolutely sure, after I had run 
	cd evince ; make reinstall
I then ran 
	cd ../../*/poppler
make install # [or reinstall ]
