lang/php5 - separate apache module from php5 port

Hi,
if i understand you say php5 isn't usable with Apache2.4 ?
I'm using Apache 2.4 with PHP 5.4.16 without any problems on my devel
monitoring distro.
mod_perl have problems with Apache 2.4 but not php5
