Suggested improvements for ports

I don't see how that would help since the 'saslauthd' port is not part
of the 'postfix' port. In fact, 'postfix' does not require either SASL
or the saslauthd port in order to work. It might be nice if there were
an option to install saslauthd, and thereby force the installation of
SASL, in the postfix port however.
