for the atchives: in principle, the procedure described here worked (not
the patch; follow Audit-Trail):

edit the file /usr/ports/Mk/bsd.qt.mk and change the line

QMAKESPEC?=     ${QT_PREFIX}/share/qt4/mkspecs/freebsd-g++

to

QMAKESPEC=      ${QT_PREFIX}/share/qt4/mkspecs/freebsd-g++

and install/update, what is needed. Some time later I had to change it
back to the original and to remove some libQt*4.3 under
/usr/local/lib/qt4/.

Seems to work now. Thank you Max.
