Question about games/utserver

In /ports/games/utserver/Makefile 

RUN_DEPENDS=    ${LINUXBASE}/usr/lib/libSDL-1.2.so.0:${PORTSDIR}/devel/linux-sdl12
BUILD_DEPENDS= ${RUN_DEPENDS}

  Can I remove BUILD_DEPENDS?


In http://www.freshports.org/games/utserver

required to build: devel/linux-sdl12, emulators/linux_base-fc4, lang/perl5.8, lang/perl5.8

# make install clean

 So lang/perl5.8 is duplicate, is it correct?
