No need. Things like that will get patched in devel/autoconf260 as
and when I add it.
However, there are a number of things ahead of that, most notably:
1. Identifying ports that use autoconf-2.53 and migrating them to 2.59
2. Reworking all of autoconf* and automake* to install in their
"normal" locations
3. Introduction of a devel/autotool-wrapper port to considerably
reduce complexity (Gentoo is being used as the basis for this)
It's going to take "a while", particularly given the widespread use
of these ports, but the end result will be an autotools system that
will be *identical* in manner (for both ports and non-ports use) to
Linux distributions.
