Really the way to make sure that this information does not get lost in
the traffic of the mailing list (especially in a day where several
hundred post-6.0 commits are whirling by, and hardly anyone is going to
be able to keep up) is to do a GNATS followup.  See the link at the lower 
left bottom of the web page for how to do that.

By checking on the web page, however, I see that that PR was superceded
by one and that one has already been committed:
