Well pkg_add seem to disagree:
5.1-RELEASE:
pkg_add -r mysql40-server
Error: FTP Unable to get ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-5.1-release/Latest/mysql40-server.tbz: File
unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access)
pkg_add: unable to fetch 'ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-5.1-release/Latest/mysql40-server.tbz' by URL
5.2.1-RELEASE:
pkg_add -r mysql40-server
Error: FTP Unable to get ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-5.2.1-release/Latest/mysql40-server.tbz: File
unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access)
pkg_add: unable to fetch 'ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-5.2.1-release/Latest/mysql40-server.tbz' by URL
All fail as only mysql-server.tbz exists in Latest.
