Make index || portsdb -uU fails after cvsup

Yes, and once I RECEIVED that message, I replied to his message
and followed his advice.  I also added a check in my .bashrc to
warn me whenever that directory exists, so I hopefully won't
waste so much time the next time I do something which creates
that directory!
