Mozilla FireBird and Rich Text Editing support

Hello all,
According to the release notes[1] Rich Text Editing support[2][3] (aka
Midas) was added to mozilla firebird in 0.6.1 and I can confirm that the
windows binaries have this feature.
Unfortunately the version in the ports doesn't enable Midas, does anyone
knows what knobs need to be turned on to enable this feature?
