FreeBSD Port: gnump3d-2.4

I have installed the gnump3d-2.4 on 5.1R. The application crashes aprox. 
every 5 minutes leaving bunch of these error messages in the 
/var/log/gnump3d/error.log :

perl in malloc(): error: recursive call

I don't know whether the problem is in the Perl or in the application. I 
just wanted to let you know.


Also the /usr/local/etc/gnump3d/gnump3d.conf says:

plugin_directory = PLUGINDIR/gnump3d/plugins

This is NOT set by the installation script.
