Hi Andy,

your patch is appreciated. The latest version of bsd.port.pk has:

USE_AUTOMAKE=		yes
USE_AUTOHEADER=		yes
WANT_AUTOCONF_VER=	253

on which ports should standardize. You'll find the documentation
in /usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk.
