I think, they are going to remove GTK stuff and make it complete in 
wxWindows and their goal is platforum of OS. Also, I heard that they are 
going to rewirte xMule in version 2 and change the license to BSD license. 
Their website used to have FAQs and it seems to be gone. You can ask in 
their forum over at http://www.xmule.org/forums/ ..
