Hi Joshua

I was wondering if you are planning to upgrade this port to 3.17.1
anytime soon? The logging problem in 3.17.0 is gone in the new version,
but it is of course missing your patches, like pidfile etc. 
I will try to patch the new version myself, but I am not entirely confident 
that it will be a success:-) I would prefer to use your updated port.
