Posted a workaround for the gcc issues in bug 255760, but this would also have
to be applied to the other gcc ports that have the problem.

In the mean time I will take a look at possibly reverting the upstream commit
that changed the __builtin_constant_p() behavior that gcc's bootstrap seems to
depend on.
