            Bug ID: 249085
Summary: ip setting in dpdk ports and traffic comparison tools
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: ports-bugs at FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: meetshamsher at gmail.com

Hi,
1. As dpdk is working in data plane, is there way to set IP for layer 3 to
transfer packets like KNI/tap etc in Linux side

OR

2. Is there any tool to test and compare traffic with and without dpdk stack.
Something like netperf, iperf/iperf3 which FreeBSD support but it need ip
settings.
