Thanks for all the effort you've put into this. Has the port or package been
made public yet? I'm not seeing v2.x in FreshPorts

or through pkg search after executing a pkg upgrade. I've also tried compiling
it using the Ports Collection by following the instructions at
https://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/ports-using.html, but I only seem to be
able to compile v1.0.4. What am I missing?
