Recordin with pulseaudio from the bash seems to work, but I get strange output:

per at konjak:~$ parec --file-format=wav /tmp/tomte.wav
shm_open() failed: Permission denied
shm_open() failed: Permission denied
shm_open() failed: Permission denied
shm_open() failed: Permission denied
^C shm_unlink(/tmp/pulse-shm-1946083232) failed: Permission denied

I have enabled all make configuration options except TEST, TDB and GDBM.

Also alsa-libs and alsa-plugins are compiled in with all possible make options.
