            Bug ID: 239477
Summary: security/trousers 0.3.14_2 installing some files to
                    '/usr/local/var/' instead of '/var/'
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: hrs at FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: mrT1188123 at gmail.com
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(hrs at FreeBSD.org)
          Assignee: hrs at FreeBSD.org

OS: from: project-trident.org
    Trident-x64-TOS-19.07-20190710.iso

FreeBSD trident-6928 13.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 13.0-CURRENT GENERIC-NODEBUG amd64

pkg install security/trousers

After installing trousers I noticed it had created an unusual path
to '/usr/local/var'

/usr/local/var/db
/usr/local/var/db/tpm
/usr/local/var/lib
/usr/local/var/lib/tpm

/usr/local/var/ contains only two objects, both are sub-folders:
   db/
   lib/

/usr/local/var/db/ contains only one object, a sub-folder
tpm/ (this is an empty folder.)

/usr/local/var/lib/ contains only one object, a sub-folder
tpm/ (this is an empty folder.)

The tcsd.conf.sample seems to have a related issue.
/usr/local/etc/
   tcsd.conf.sample
       # system_ps_file = /usr/local/var/lib/tpm/system.data
.
It appears that the prefix '/usr/local' is a mistake
and should be just '/var/...'

Note: the tcsd.conf.sample file has one option the defaults to
'/usr/local/var'.

I looked at: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/security/trousers/
It appears that the issue is in the following two files:
      Makefile
      pkg-plist

On this bug form I did try using the preview tab but it was empty.
