This is again presumptuous and does not rectify the underlying issue...

So, can I expect a decision towards the issues raised in comment #10 from
portmgr@, or are we to shoot down any sane argument that might be representing
user concerns, such as those offered in this thread while at the same time
making it unnecessarily hard for less experienced porters to contribute?
