patch to restore transparency

Hello,

I'd like to add a patch to restore the transparency background setting on
gnome-terminal.
It is an extract from the patch used by Fedora.
(https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/gnome-terminal/tree/master)

I wasn't able to make it work with the full patch so I removed the parts linked
to system notifications (had a problem with a VTE class definition, so I tried
applying the patch for vte3 but then it didn't compile anymore)
