Bug ID: 226116
Summary: lang/erlang-runtime20 build failure with libressl
2.6.4 on FBSD 11.1Stable amd64
Product: Ports & Packages
Version: Latest
Hardware: amd64
OS: Any
Status: New
Severity: Affects Some People
Priority: ---
Component: Individual Port(s)
Assignee: olgeni at FreeBSD.org
Reporter: dewayne at heuristicsystems.com.au
Assignee: olgeni at FreeBSD.org
Flags: maintainer-feedback?(olgeni at FreeBSD.org)
Unfortunately erlang-runtime20 fails with the following messages:
crypto.c:4605:7: error: implicit declaration of function
'RSA_padding_add_SSLv23' is invalid in C99
[-Werror,-Wimplicit-function-declaration]
if (RSA_padding_add_SSLv23(tmp_bin.data, tmplen, in_bin.data,
in_bin.size) <= 0)
^
crypto.c:4605:7: warning: this function declaration is not a prototype
[-Wstrict-prototypes]
crypto.c:4739:10: error: implicit declaration of function
'RSA_padding_check_SSLv23' is invalid in C99
[-Werror,-Wimplicit-function-declaration]
i = RSA_padding_check_SSLv23(tmp_bin.data, tmplen, p, out_bin.size
- 1, tmplen);
^
crypto.c:4739:10: note: did you mean 'RSA_padding_add_SSLv23'?
crypto.c:4605:7: note: 'RSA_padding_add_SSLv23' declared here
if (RSA_padding_add_SSLv23(tmp_bin.data, tmplen, in_bin.data,
in_bin.size) <= 0)
^
crypto.c:4739:10: warning: this function declaration is not a prototype
[-Wstrict-prototypes]
i = RSA_padding_check_SSLv23(tmp_bin.data, tmplen, p, out_bin.size
- 1, tmplen);
The above id difficult to read but there are two errors, one for
RSA_padding_add_SSLv23
RSA_padding_check_SSLv23
Platform: FreeBSD 11.1-STABLE r328914M amd64
Fails to build using clang5.0.1 and gcc7 (7.3.0)
lang/erlang builds cleanly on both the i386 (openssl) and amd64 (libressl). As
you're aware there are substantial changes to
/usr/ports/lang/erlang-runtime20/work/otp_src_20.2/lib/crypto/c_src/crypto.c
And I don't really know how to proceed. If you're holding out on some of the
erlang PR's for 20.4 it would be appreciated if you could advise. :)
