Bug ID: 226105
Summary: editors/libreoffice: LibreOffice uses excessive CPU
with document open
Product: Ports & Packages
Version: Latest
Hardware: Any
OS: Any
Status: New
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: ---
Component: Individual Port(s)
Assignee: office at FreeBSD.org
Reporter: kevinz5000 at gmail.com
Flags: maintainer-feedback?(office at FreeBSD.org)

LibreOffice uses excessive CPU with documents open, even if it's a blank
document, no matter what program it's in (Writer, Calc, etc.)
'top' shows soffice.bin active on the CPU most times; one would expect it to be
in a wait state.
'Excessive' because when you open a model dialog in LibreOffice, the excessive
CPU consumption ceases. For instance, Help -> About LibreOffice opens a modal
dialog, and as long as it's open CPU usage is minimal.
