The postinstall note tells the user to add a sysctl variable to
/etc/sysctl.conf.

This is no longer necessary since 11.0. Please reference:

To avoid unnecessary hassle for users, please amend the postinstall message
similar like the Gimp one has been amended (see also PR 204919, link:
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=204919#c10 )

Here is the Gimp postinstall note amendment, for your convenience:

"FreeBSD 11.0-R and newer have this set by default."
