A workaround is to create /etc/make.conf (did not exist before) and add there:

DEFAULT_VERSIONS+=  perl5=5.26

This should not be needed as 5.26 is default currently.

Then I've rebuilt lang/perl5.26 to get installed package perl5-5.26.2 instead
of perl5.26-5.26.2 and now do-depends.sh does not fail.
