gzipped copy of the poudriere build log for lang/v8
I use portmaster for updating ports in my development systems, and poudriere to
build local packages (on one of the development systems) for my "production"
systems.
For my laptop (one of the development systems), I have lang/v8 built (as a
build requirement for databases/mongodb); it was built & installed Mon Feb 19
03:53:13 2018 PST. At that time, the laptop had been running
FreeBSD 11.1-STABLE #543 r329560M/329561:1101510: Mon Feb 19 03:41:52 PST 2018
root at g1-215.catwhisker.org:/common/S1/obj/usr/src/sys/CANARY amd64
and I have had no need to update the port (on the laptop) since.
On the machine where I run poudriere, it is currently running
FreeBSD freebeast.catwhisker.org 11.2-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 11.2-PRERELEASE #664
r332855M/332855:1101515: Sat Apr 21 03:44:37 PDT 2018
root at freebeast.catwhisker.org:/common/S1/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64
(which is also what was copied to the build jail).
As I update the production machines on Sunday morning, I do a "catch-up"
poudriere run Saturday morning (today); it is that run that (again) complained
about lang/v8 failing to build. I will upload the (gzipped) build log.
As there have been some recent updates to clang in FreeBSD base (stable/11), I
suspect that lang/v8 may be running afoul of tighter checking, or some such
thing.
