Sorry for the late response. I've overseen that you have responded :-(
The error seems to have been overcome by events now. It doens't appear on
CURRENT (r325989) anymore.
Therefore, I face another error with GRASS7 in the very last phase of
installation, see below. I will opne another PR and close this one for
completeness.
