I'm considering removing the NLS option and force it to be enabled.
It seems like that some part of the code, like data/Makefile.am, assumes that
intltool is available. Thus, --disable-nls may not work.
As this project seems mostly unmaintained, I don't think that it would be fixed
anytime soon if reported.
Is there any reason you want to build it with NLS disabled?
