including the output of the failure of your make command. Also, it might be
a good idea to provide an overview of all packages installed on your system
(e.g. a /usr/local/sbin/pkg-static info -g -Ea).

Zabbix 3.2 and earlier has been working perfectly against MariaDB 10.1 and
10.2. The new port seems to have a hard dependency on only mysql.

Is this an upstream problem or one introduced by the new port?
