output from failed `make` in /usr/ports/net-p2p/litecoin
if the system has databases/leveldb installed, then somewhere along the
configure or build, litecoin and litecoin-daemon decide to pick up one's
installed leveldb instead of building/linking the one embedded in the litecoin
source. this caused the build to fail on my system, showing the attached
output.
uninstalling leveldb momentarily (just during the build) was a workaround that
worked for me. i did not find an appropriate --without-* knob for the litecoin
configure script. i'm sorry i could not produce a better fix in the limited
time i gave it.
it looks to me like the bitcoin port builds and links its embedded leveldb code
regardless of the databases/leveldb port/package being installed on the build
system or not.
