6.1.0 was released by upstream on Jan 28, 2016.

Release text:
  "We are happy to announce the release of our latest major release, v6.1.0!
  This is primarily a bug fix release over v6.0.0, but adds a few interesting
  features.."

It also looks, based on release notes for 6.0.0, that http/2 is now considered
stable.  
Not sure if the spdy OPTIONS_DEFINE is still relevant or not.
